Tei an dallas restaurant

The hot sake was good and the cold sake I had was wonderful. If I were to be "nitpicky," I would say that the hot sake should be delivered a little bit hotter, as it was only a little better than luke-warm when it arrived thus, cooled off just a little too quickly.

In closing, I'll say that the fish IS some of the freshest and best I've had in a while and my friend said that the cooked meal he had was also wonderful. Great food and service. Small, cozy atmosphere. Tables are, however, quite close together so would pass if you're looking for an intimate or more removed table.

Consistently my favorite restaurant in town. Excellent food and cocktails, and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I've already booked my next visit. We weren't as happy as we usually are at Tei An this past Thursday night. We love the food and the service is usually excellent, and very good about getting you out in time for an Arts District event. But this time it was a minute wait for our first glass of wine. And a longer than usual wait to get our order taken, even at our seats at the bar.

The orders did come in good time, however, and the servers did a good job after the slow start. One other change we weren't happy with is that there was busy music playing too loud; we've always appreciated the serene Zen environment, which the music disrupted. Waiter talking to next table allowed his butt to hang over my food and in my face while he took their order.

Maybe the tables are too close together or maybe he was just inexperienced. Excellent service; very professional. The food and sake were very good. We highly recommend it!! Tei-An was good. My wife and I each had the Omakase and it was pretty solid throughout - the beef was insanely good but the tempura was a bit bland.

Admittedly both my wife and I are a bit spoiled with this type of cuisine after dining at Morimoto's in Philly. Great for pre-performance dining in the Arts District. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food particularly the sushi and sashimi is terrific. I am Japanese. Of course, how the Soba is cut is not perfect like Hand-made soba in Japan, but the texture, al dente-ness of the noodle is very good. It is amazing I could eat Soba like this in Dallas!

Very authentic. Their dish-wares are very Japanese and pretty. I love this restaurant. Excellent foods and services. Highly recommended!! Once again never disappoints. This is probably my 2nd or 3rd review.

We had some special Toro and it melted in my mouth. I've eaten here about 50 times over the last several years no lie. Worth every single penny don't cheap out here save your money and do it right. Fantastic experience for the first time. Loved the atmosphere, service, and food! It was fresh and delicious with a great menu.

Perfect experience for wedding anniversary and will be back soon with my clients. We ate at Tei-An to celebrate my birthday and it was a wonderful evening! The menu was full of amazing dishes and we picked a huge variety and everything was just flawless.

A wonderful meal in a lovely but unintimidating setting. Teiichi and everyone at TeiAn were amazing - from the minute we walked in the door, this was one of the three most amazing meals of my life - including my wedding day. The appetizers, soba, and rich but not heavy desserts and ice cold beer and light sake were perfection and the genuine caring that Teiichi and his staff expressed as we celebrated the anniversary of my husband's living donor liver transplant received from his brother was beyond joyous.

This was a perfect experience for which we can't fully express our gratitude. Wonderful as usual. I think this restaurant serves the best Tenpura in DFW.

Consistently great dining experience. I plan to return soon. It was a great experience. We learned about the culture and where the food comes from. Very fresh!! Absolutely perfect!!!!! Every time I eat there - the service and food is impeccable!

Outstanding restaurant. The food quality and creativity is consistently high. The service is charming, friendly and helpful. We went for my moms birthday and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The curry is definitely strong so if you are not a curry person I would advise against but we thought it was delicious.

The beef tongue was to die for. Great experience except they couldn't take my Open Table reward on this day. They said I could use it another time. Hope so!! Tei-An is an authentic Japan soba noodle house featuring a diverse menu of Japanese specialties unavailable elsewhere.

The service is impeccable, very attentive, prompt, and polite. The dining ambience is well-suited for any occasion and great for conversation. Amazing experience. Some of the best hand-crafted cocktails in Dallas.

The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and service and food was impeccable. Wonderful and authentic place Not just the best Japanese restaurant in Dallas, but one of the top restaurants of any type in Dallas. Perfect food, perfect pace, perfect service. If only it was free Tei- An is currently my favorite restaurant. The food has always been outstanding and the service, friendly and well informed. These are great traits when experimenting on many dishes. I would recommend a specific dish but I have yet to have one that we didn't love on multiple visits.

My wife has not always been so enamored saying the ambience has a sterile quality, but not this visit. Perhaps it was the lively staff and crowd. Food wasn't bad. Service wasn't bad. But nothing to write home about for the price. They seated us at a really small table for 2 when the place was empty and we had reservations.

Both of us are over 6 feet tall so as a business meal we had no place to put down our phones or papers for discussion. It wasn't bad but wasn't a value for your money. Always enjoy Tei An; it is a great place to sample some high quality Asian with both sushi, shasimi choices as well as cooked options. The quality of the food and service are very nice and well presented.

Would recommend. A tastefully decorated interior and nice ambient, it's great for special occasions. The sushi is super fresh and tempura light and crispy. House made ramen was well done and delicious. Soba was just as great as the service. Explore more. Best of City Dallas Modern Luxury. Soba, our house specialty, is always the finale.
