A relationship does not necessarily indicate a personal connection. Byron Clarence Roth. James Harris. Gail F. I really liked Nadkarni, she is very intelligent but I didnt like the course overall. She doesn't like to give full points unless she thinks something is flawless, and about half the semester is spent listening to other students present to an unengaged classroom, why go to lecture just to hear the summary of a reading u did the night before?

Lots of homework Get ready to read Test heavy. Jan 20th, Attendance: Mandatory. She cares a lot about her students, but the class itself is very difficult.

There is a lot of reading involved and it can be easy to fall behind. The quizzes are hard because they often focus on such minute details. Dec 24th, Sometimes she's clear about the materials, other times seems like she is just pointing out her opinion. You have to catch her on her good side, otherwise can be rude and arrogant at times. Prompts are very unclear and confusing. Won't express reason behind a grade. Jan 5th, This is probably one of the most difficult classes I've ever taken.

I read every day, 7 days a week to keep the reading manageable. The lectures are difficult to take notes on so you have to do the reading to know what is going on. All of this being said, Nadkarni is absolutely amazing and really cares about her students. I learned a ton. Tough Grader Get ready to read Inspirational.

Dec 12th, She's really inspirational, but this was a tough class. Don't take this if you're just trying to fulfill a requirement, you've got to care. Don't let this scare you away though!

If you're curious about majoring in IR, this is a great class. Nov 18th, She's so smart and a very interesting teacher. There is a lot of reading involved but if you don't read she goes over everything in class anyway. Our grade was based off a midterm, final and paper. I really recommend her. She cares for all her students and wants everyone to pass.

She gives a question bank for her midterm and final. Dec 16th, In IR be prepared to teach yourself all of the material needed for the tests, which are very specific and difficult.

President Trump has inherited a relationship with Russia fraught with more tension than at any point since the Cold War. In the Middle East, Russia obstructs U. Meanwhile, several investigations are underway in the United States to determine the impact Russia had in influencing the outcome of the presidential election.

Nadkarni cited other examples of U. Nadkarni said that Putin was mistaken when he blamed then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for inciting widespread protests in Moscow and other major cities against his election and claimed that the United States was either directly or indirectly behind all the protest movements in the post-Soviet space. When it did not, Russia retaliated by cutting and capping staff levels at the U.

Trump responded by halting non-immigrant visas from Russia and ordering Russia to close its consulate in San Francisco and two diplomatic annexes in New York and Washington, D. With escalating retaliatory moves taking place, Nadkarni and Grigas do not see the adversarial aspect of the U. Grigas agreed, however, that U.
