I have 8 Arc'teryx and 4 Veilance jackets and coats and my wife has 6 Arc'teryx Arc'teryces?

They just look so damned good, fit so well and are extremely warm. Perhaps being in Toronto I just got sick of seeing s of CG! When extreme cold hits I wear the Therme which to my mind is one of THE most stylish extreme weather coats.

They truly make clothes that move with you. The arms on my Beta LT are so well articulated it's crazy. I also like that they work really well together.

Veilance is designed for the urban environment. The hoods have a low profile and even then have adjustment points to fit better. If anything, the fur trim on a Moncler jacket is more likely to blind you. Even if you look at outdoor Arc'teryx jackets, the hoods are some of the best designed things I've handled. They're cut with a 3D pattern. There are cinch cords at different points to tighten the hood as needed. The brim is laminated so it definitely won't blind you.
