He was an active child who took loved music, dancing and going places.

In his spare time he liked collecting basketball cards, imitating different comedians and socializing with people. However, Tommie found so much joy simply playing and spending time with his family no matter where they lived.

For example, his grandfather played a prominent role, in his life. He enjoy listening to his grandfather stories even if they were the same ones over and over again.

During his high school years, Tommie had a natural flair for cheering on and applauding just about everyone, whether they deserved or not. He believe that a person should have a an perspective in life and fulfill life to its fullest. He was constantly offering his support and encouragement to fellow members of groups and activities in which he participated.

He graduated in He placed a high value on learning and always understood that there was a new lesson to be grasped waiting for him just around the corner. He genuinely enjoyed telling stories in a way that drew people to him. In this way, Tommie had another talent, which was finding the way to be the center of attention, a kind of social catalyst. No matter what class it was, Tommie was always very perceptive and embraced the mental challenges that his college experience provided. Tommie related well to children of all ages and was able to connect to them on their level. The children always loved him and he was completely and totally devoted to them.

No matter how hard issues became, he took that step and deal with it. Tommie experienced success in his work life over and over again. His primary occupation was a journeyman. He was employed for over a decade through the Teamster Local Tommie always made the effort to understand what was needed at work, and was well known by his colleagues as a team player.
